OEN Pandemic Learnings Virtual Luncheon Presentation benefitting CAMH

The OEN will be hosting a “virtual luncheon” on April 1, 2021 at 12:30 p.m.. Since this is a virtual event, we encourage you to provide your own lunch by supporting a local restaurant!

Several energy industry leaders will be on hand to discuss the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on their organizations, the steps taken, what worked, what didn’t and changes they expect to make for the longer term. In other words “lessons learned” that will help everyone get through the coming months, as well as help us all be better prepared should we face a similar situation in the future. The session will include an opportunity to ask questions of our panel.

Our featured leaders will include:

  • Lyla Garzouzi, P.Eng., Chief Safety Officer, Hydro One and OEN Chair
  • David Collie, President & CEO, Electrical Safety Authority
  • Angelo Gravina, P. Eng., President, S&C Electric Canada
  • Cynthia Hansen, Executive Vice President and President, Gas Distribution and Storage, Enbridge

One thing we have learned in the past year is that mental health services have been more important than ever. Our annual OEN Ski Day for Mental Health, benefitting the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), was cancelled this year, so we are asking that everyone make a donation to CAMH in lieu of a registration fee. The event on April 1 will include a special message from CAMH. CAMH is the leading provider of mental health services and training across Ontario.

To donate to CAMH please use the link below to our “OEN Helps” team page at CAMH:
